Allison Sagewind, LMT

Allison Sagewind

Allison has a natural gift of teaching - it runs in her family.  She enjoys teaching to the vast variety of massage and movement practitioners: LMTs, PTs and OTs, Yoga, Pilates, Ball Room instructors, Martial Arts Teachers and more… Along with appreciating ALL the incredible skills that are taught in the Aston Kinetics classes, she revels in the result that students from different disciplines gain a common language to collaborate about their service to the same individual. She believes bridging communication across disciplines will facilitate growth and progress for future fields of health.

With clients, Allison feels a profound joy when she observes the restoration of the client’s hope of healing. The facilitation of hope for optimal healing greatly supports their evolution of being on this earth… in body-mind and spirit. It’s a privilege to provide this space for another human being.

Allison's personal movement background was in gymnastics and dance.

She has been a health professional since 1986 (37 years) and began her career as a Lic. Physical Therapist Asst. where she blended the following integrative therapies into her medical foundation: Myofascial Release, Craniosacral, Orthobionomy, Zero Balancing, Feldenkrais and more which earned her a professional title of “Myofascial Specialist” in 1991.

In 1993, she found and resonated with Aston Kinetics as the assessment skills, movement concepts and the hands-on fascial integration techniques greatly enhanced all the prior bodywork and movement disciplines she used while working in the physical therapy clinics.

She was hooked, continued to learn more through Aston Kinetics courses and became a Certified Aston-Patterning Practitioner. She began her own practice and continued her career path in Aston Kinetics.

Her 30 years of Aston Kinetics trainings have been directly with Judith Aston and Brian Linderoth. Since 2000, she has been an Aston Kinetics instructor to health professionals in the massage, movement and medical fields nationwide making her an ‘Advanced Aston Faculty Member’ of the Aston Kinetics organization...again, such a privilege.
