Requirements for
The 2020 Aston-Patterning® Certification Training Program
Before you apply, you must qualify with the below requirements, or plan to have them completed before the first day of the training program.
Massage license, medical license or other license that allows you to do bodywork in your state.
Diploma from massage school, medical school or physical therapy school (students of massage school: please contact us for special considerations)
Completion of 3 foundation courses: Aston® Postural Assessment: APA 101, Aston-Mechanics®: AM 201, Aston® Spiraling Technique and Fascial Integration: AFI 301
One Private Session with a Certified Aston-Patterning® Practitioner
Current Liability Insurance (options available)
Requirements To graduate from the program
The Participant must:
Attend every Phase of the Certification training
Participate in the Community Bodywork sessions (practical application of the content)
Attend and pass the final evaluation of skills which consists of a practical and written exam
Once all Phases of the training have been completed and the participant has passed the final evaluation, the participant may advertise and call themselves Aston-Patterning® Practitioners. The Practitioner will be listed on our website with their contact information as well as receive special invitations to trainings to further their knowledge and receive CE’s.
